🚀 Royal Revolt Warriors - Major Demo Update: Online Multiplayer & 4-Player Co-op! 🎉
Warriors, the time has come! The latest update for the Royal Revolt Warriors demo is here, and it’s our biggest one yet! ⚔️🔥
🏆 Main Patch Notes:
🔹 Multiplayer Madness!
- We’ve enabled experimental 2-4 player online multiplayer via Steam Netplay!
- Play with friends locally, online, or even mix and match both!
🔹 Brand New Warrior!
- Added "Moe the Monk" incl. his ability and weapon enchantment.
🔹 New Warrior Abilities!
- Christa: "Berserk" – Unleash a furious attack speed boost!
- Umberto: "Decoy" – Lure enemies in with a deadly trap that explodes based on their max HP.
- Moe: "Cheers!" – Sacrifice HP to buff your and your allies’ damage!
- Sam: "Satyrical Symphony" – A soothing melody that heals all nearby allies.
🔹 New Weapons & Enchantments!
- "Tempest Rod" plus its "Storm Bringer" enchantment. 🌩️
- "Valkyrie Spear" (Enchantment coming soon!).
- "Gobbotech Mines" (Explosions incoming!).
- Gaia Harp Enchantment: "Autumn Storm" – Nature’s fury unleashed.
- Royal Brew Enchantment: "Volatile Brew" – Who knew a drink could be this explosive? 💥
🔹 New Trinkets & Improvements!
- Gilded Purse: – More gold = more upgrades! 💰
- All Warriors now have unique names (except the King… he’s still just "The King" 👑).
- Reworked quests for better game flow.
- Rebalanced Blacksmith upgrades & added new ones.
- Kunais deal extra damage on impact before applying poison. 🗡️☠️
- Monk’s Brew now has a hit sound (because audio cues matter!).
- Tweaked VFX and fixed tons of bugs. 🛠️
⚡ Some known issues...
- When playing with 4 players, the UI displays 4 trinket slots for each player, even though only 3 can be filled.
- When playing online, the quests to unlock Secret Tincture, Prism & Persistence Rune only track progress for the host.
As we're adding so much content, features and the new mutliplayer functionality, unfortunatwely we have to wipe all existing savegames of the demo.
