Today is a special day for us at Digital Happiness. To celebrate our anniversary, we’re releasing DreadOut Remastered Collection on PC.
This collection brings together two classic horror titles in one package: DreadOut and DreadOut: Keepers of The Dark. Originally released between 2014 and 2016, both games have been remastered to provide a smoother, more immersive experience for today’s platforms.
Remastering the original games has always been difficult. The first DreadOut was made over a decade ago using Unity, and we’ve since moved to Unreal. For years, we struggled to make it happen. Most porting developers gave up. That changed when we met our publishing partner, Soft Source, and their porting team. They worked with care and dedication, starting with consoles, and now we’re finally able to bring the remastered version to PC as well.
With this release, we want to offer more flexibility. If you only want one of the titles, the remastered versions of DreadOut and Keepers of The Dark are still available separately. But for those who are new to the series or missed the original releases, we could say that this collection is a more convenient way to experience both games together in a single launcher.
We’ve done more than just a visual upgrade. Here’s what’s different:
We’ve also expanded our localization support. So more players around the world can experience the game in their native language. DreadOut Remastered Collection is now available in:

This remaster has been a long journey. We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished and excited to finally bring it to you. Whether you’re returning to DreadOut or playing it for the first time, we hope you enjoy the experience.
We’re also working on Steam Deck optimization and are aiming for full verification in the near future.
Thank you for your continued support. Hope you enjoy every bit of it!
