This updates completely reworks the generation of the solar system, adding a whole new progression path up to producing Quantum Science that will require you to bring resources together from different sectors of the solar system. There are now 3 distinct biomes with each with different resources and abundances, which you can view in the updated solar system map.
The Relic enemies have also been reworked, with new enemies, new enemy bases, and more varied attack patterns for existing enemies. Enemy generation can now also be disabled when creating a new world with the Peaceful Mode setting. When you destroy enemies, you can now harvest Relic Shards which you can use to complete the Relic Technology research for some powered-up items.
To get all of the new content, make sure to start a new world in this update, just switching from an existing world will not generate the new content. Like always, if you are opening an older save file in the new update, consider making a back-up.
Happy holidays!
