Hey everyone,
First off – thank you for your support! Truly, thank you! :) Yes – I know – it's been quiet for a while, but creating a game of this scale turned out to be a lot more work than expected. I simply didn't want to release something unfinished, nor rely on AI. I wanted it to be properly playable.
Now for the "Why": Why a gas station simulator, anyway? I just think they're awesome and love playing them myself. There's really not much more to it. I think people can easily relate to it, they know what they're getting with this specific setting, and while it might not be truly revolutionary, it is different from other games.
As for the "When": October 28th. Yes, that's still a little while away. Unfortunately, I didn't manage to polish the demo for the upcoming Steam Next Fest the way I wanted to. I don't want you walking blindly into a disaster ;-) That's why I'm taking the time to deliver a really solid demo for the following Next Fest.
As described, the game will be released in Early Access. Lately – over the past 2 years or so – a lot of crap has happened with other game releases, which is why I want to be completely transparent with you about what you'll be getting:
An honest game: Early Access isn't just an empty gimmick for me; the game will be actively developed.
No AI in the game: I know the current images on the store page are still AI-generated. However, these are merely placeholders that I will replace completely. Everything in the game itself is made by real humans.
A working gameplay loop: You should be able to have fun right from the start.
Your voice matters: You will have the opportunity to feed your feedback directly into the development process.
