Hello Merchants! We are coming back to you with another monthly progress update, which will tease you a little bit, what we are about to implement next.Let's visit Tresna once more:

Your Amazing Feedback

We just want to start by saying: we're so happy that so many of you jump back into portals, and we’ve been reading each one of your reviews, comments, and discussions. Seeing your excitement, on the road to release.

Of course, this are only couple of them and we couldn't pack them all here. <3

What’s Next?

Expert Difficulty Mode

This has been one of the most requested features from the community, and we’re excited to announce it. A new difficulty mode where relics can be lost completely. Every run carries higher stakes, and every decision matters even more, and bring back the risk-reward dynamics which made first Moonlighter so unique.(all assets still WIP)

New Perk Path: Poison

Many of you have requested more perk variety, and we're already working on a new set of perks like Poison

This ailment will deal damage over time, and each tick increases its next damage, making it more dangerous the longer it stays active. However, Poison has a relatively short duration. You’ll need to keep reapplying it to maintain its growing power.

Let it drop, and the damage resets… so stay sharp.

(all assets still WIP)

Blobblet Skins

Yes! We’re adding new Blobblet skins with unique visuals and different effects. Rumblet, Guyblob Threepup, Mr. Spots and many many more will appear in Tresna, increasing value of your items, altering sell prices, and bringing a lot of cuteness.(all assets still WIP)

Blo-Buddy

Meet your new companion: the Blo-Buddy which feels like an homage that will bring another part of ML1's flavour to ML2!

This new long-range weapon is a small floating friend that follows you around (yes, it’s as cute as it sounds). It fires whenever you press the shoot button, letting you attack while performing other actions at the same time.

It shoots rapidly with lower damage per hit, making it perfect for applying ailments like Ice or the new Poison.

(all assets still WIP)

Known Issues

Our aim of releasing Moonlighter 2 in Early Access was to create the best experience possible, which brings you fun for a bunch of time, and we are taking our time and care to test each idea, or suggestion that comes from the community.

We definitely hear you loud and clear when it comes to the Colosseum, and we are aware of the issues you have addressed recently so far.

Right now, it’s not hitting the balance we want. Enemies can feel a bit too spongy, and the risk-reward ratio isn’t as satisfying as it should be. This is something we're already tackling. We just want to make sure we approach it carefully and implement changes properly.

That said, you can expect adjustments to this mode based directly on your feedback soon, as we constantly try to improve your experience. We are also aware of some minor crashes and bugs, which we are constantly working on at the moment.

As always, keep the feedback coming. You’re helping us shape Moonlighter 2 every step of the way, and we couldn’t do this without you.Stay tuned and see you next month!~ Digital Sun and 11 bit studios Teams
