Update 164.0 - Steam Old Version(Default). Update 164.0 - Testpublic. Update 138.0 - Crossplayer
We inform all players that the Christmas sleigh, which used to fly over the game map at 00:00 (midnight), has been removed from the server.
This removal marks the definitive end of the Christmas special content, allowing the map to return to its default state and be prepared for future updates.
We are implementing a new damage system that introduces a temporary delay after an animal receives an attack.
This system was initially applied to the Barbarian Lion and the Cheetah, and has now been expanded to more animals in the game.
When an animal is hit, it triggers a damage animation, causing a temporary delay in actions such as:
New attacks
Immediate movement
Instant reactions
The goal is to bring more realism to combat, simulating the real physical impact animals suffer during confrontations.
This delay is not a bug.
It is part of the new system and represents the effect of pain after receiving damage.
The system is already active in several animals.
However, damage animations are not yet implemented for the following animals:
Crocodile
Shoebill
Vulture
These animals will receive the animations in future updates, along with the full expansion of the system.
Important adjustments have been made to the Lion, Zebra, and Leopard skins, focusing on damage effects and interaction with the climate system.
Damage visual effects corrected and refined
Marks, wounds, and impacts now appear more accurately on the animal’s body
Removal of distortions and incorrect positioning
More stable and consistent skins
More realistic visual damage effects
Proper interaction between climate and body materials
Overall improvement in visual quality during gameplay and animations
These changes are part of our ongoing effort to improve visual polish and realism and will be gradually implemented across other animals in Animalia Survival.
New Lion skins using the Mesh Collection system have been added, allowing players to choose their preferred mane.
More manes will be added in the future, including DLC content.
The Warthog received new improvements focused on combat, animations, and movement.
Adjusted animations
Smoother and more responsive movement
Increased speed, making charges faster and more dangerous
Increased damage
Bleeding effect added to attacks
The Zebra received visual improvements, new systems, and additional skins.
General improvements to skin quality
Visual corrections for better integration with lighting and environment
New wound system added
Increased visual impact and realism during combat
Zebra now visually reacts to the game’s climate conditions
Adjustments have been made to the admin panel, along with improvements and fixes to the latest commands that were added, ensuring:
Greater stability
Better performance
A more consistent administrative experience
The implementation of the random weather system has begun.
During gameplay, the weather will change automatically over time, following natural patterns of the Savanna biome during summer.
Increase immersion and climate realism
Make the environment more dynamic and alive
Several adjustments have been made — and others are still ongoing — to the Animalia Survival map and environment, focusing on visual polish, realism, and gameplay.
Removal of floating trees and rocks
Fixes to map holes near the waterfall area close to the mountain
Some floating objects may still exist and will be fixed gradually
Plain, Swamp, and Waterfall areas received adjustments and additions
New plants and rocks added to the Plain region
Swamp fog was adjusted, as it was causing FPS drops
We are working on adding new zebra and elephant carcasses, which will serve as food sources and help with player survival.
We appreciate all the community feedback and ask for patience during this adjustment phase.
We continue working to improve realism, performance, and overall quality in Animalia Survival.
