Changelog

New

  • In-Game Tutorials have now arrived! The 'How to Play' button has been changed to 'Learn to Play', and will now take you to the list of available tutorials. These tutorials will cover the basics, up to how to win the game.
  • All Advancements and Vale Cards now feature animations. New SFX has also been added for all Advancements and Vale Cards.
  • You can now invite your friends to Online games.
  • In-game chat is now available while playing the game (not just in the pre-game lobby).
  • Advancements/Vale Cards purchased by other players will now briefly move to the centre of the screen, before moving to their field.
  • Added a prompt to inform you when it is your turn.
  • Added particle effects for earning Mana, Victory Points, Decay/Spoiling, Turn changing.
  • Window resolution can now be selected in-game. Because of this, the initial dialog when booting the game up has been removed.
  • Added tooltips to 'Field', 'Vale Cards', and 'Discard Pile' buttons in the Player area. These will display the number of cards present in each area.

Changes, Improvements and Fixes

  • GAMEPLAY: Fixed an issue where opening an Advancement or Vale Card, closing it, then attempting to drag it during Planting or Harvest Phase would cause odd behaviour (and in some cases softlock the game).
  • GAMEPLAY: Player orders are now randomised at the start of the game (both Online and Offline).
  • GAMEPLAY: Fixed an issue where placing two Lifebringer Seeds onto a card with 1 Decay would result in an extra Decay being cancelled.
  • GAMEPLAY/UI: Fixed an issue where switching from viewing another player's field while they purchased an Advancement would cause the game to halt until you switched back to their field.
  • UI: Fixed an issue where the Vale Cards in the Results screen could be dragged around.
  • UI: All dialogs should now properly display any resource modifications to field cards.
  • UI: Advancement Resource Tabs slightly reworked. Decay and Growth tokens are now grouped with Spirit Tokens.
  • UI: Vale Card purchase animations now show the colour of the player who purchased it.
  • UI: Push, Pass, End Turn, and Options menu button hitboxes tweaked.
  • UI: Fixed an issue where the Discard Pile was not properly being cleared.
  • UI: Fixed an issue where using Conclave of Ents to unspoil would not properly update the UI.
  • UI: Clicking outside of the Pause dialog, and all title screen dialogs, will now dismiss them.
  • AI: AI Players should be less inclined to purchase extensive amounts of Fertile Soil.
  • AI: Resolved some under-the-hood issues with the AI. Hard AI's should now attempt to synergise certain cards and Advancements a bit better.
  • AI: Removed various redundant AI difficulty levels. 'Easy', 'Medium', and 'Hard' are now the only difficulties.

Important Note: Due to some rather major updates to the game logic, players on this update will not be able to play with other players running previous versions of the game.
