TABLE OF TRUTH — NEW UPDATE

We've been working hard on the latest Table of Truth update, bringing new features, gameplay improvements, visual polish, and quality-of-life changes to the game.

This update focuses especially on in-game communication, lobby management, Spin the Bottle, the new How to Play system, and the overall player experience.

NEW FEATURES

TEXT CHAT

You can now communicate with other players using in-game text chat.

The chat system keeps message history, allowing players who join during an ongoing game to see previous messages.

IN-GAME LOBBY SETTINGS

The host can now access lobby settings while a game is in progress.

Game mode, round count, question duration, and other settings can be changed, allowing the host to restart the match with the new settings.

HOW TO PLAY

A new How to Play section has been added to the main menu.

Here you can learn how each Table of Truth game mode works, how voting works, and the basic rules you need to know before playing.

NEW SAVE SYSTEM

We've introduced a new JSON-based save system for player settings.

This provides a more reliable way to save and load your settings.

HUD TOGGLE

You can now press P to hide or show the in-game HUD.

This is especially useful if you want to take clean screenshots directly from the game.

SPIN THE BOTTLE IMPROVEMENTS

We've made several improvements to the core flow of Spin the Bottle.

  • Improved bottle spin timing.

  • Improved timer synchronization.

  • Added the ability to skip the answer phase early.

  • Improved voting and scoring screens.

  • Updated the end-of-round leaderboard.

NEW MAPS & VISUAL IMPROVEMENTS

We've also made a number of improvements to the game's visuals and environments.

Prison Cell and Prison Shower environments have been added and polished.

We've also made Occlusion Culling improvements and updated Ambient Occlusion settings to help improve performance and visual quality.

LOADING SCREENS

Loading screens now feature randomized background artwork during scene transitions.

This gives each loading screen a little more variety.

AUDIO & CONTROLS

VOICE CHAT

Fixed several issues affecting voice chat during scene transitions.

Various problems that could cause Voice Chat to reset or stop working correctly after changing scenes have been addressed.

MUSIC SYSTEM

Fixed an issue where background music could unexpectedly restart during scene loading.

MOUSE & CAMERA

We've made several improvements to mouse sensitivity and camera responsiveness.

We also fixed issues related to saving these settings.

MAIN MENU IMPROVEMENTS

The character in the main menu now smoothly follows your mouse movement with their head.

It's a small detail, but we think it makes the menu feel a little more alive.

BUG FIXES

Alongside the changes above, we've also fixed various bugs and stability issues across the game.

  • Lobby connection issues

  • Scene transition problems

  • Singleton-related issues

  • Splash screen problems

  • Various networking and gameplay stability issues

We're continuing to work on Table of Truth and plan to bring more content and improvements in future updates.

Thank you for your support and feedback.

Have fun, and we'll see you around the table!
