Endless Mode Is now live on Stoneguard!

Hello everyone!

Based on community feedback, we’re introducing Endless Mode to Stoneguard with this update. This new mode is for players who want to push their settlement beyond the standard campaign, face increasingly relentless nights, and see just how long their Lifestone can survive.

A Fight Without End

Endless Mode will use a random enemy spawn system built around an incrementing point value, following the same escalating rhythm as Stoneguard’s six-day boss cycles. As the nights continue, the threats will grow stronger, more varied, and more demanding, requiring you to constantly adapt your defenses, resources, and battle plans.

On later nights, enemies will arrive in multiple waves spaced roughly 60 seconds apart. Holding the first attack will not mean the danger has passed. You'll need to repair breaches, reposition defenders, and prepare for the next push before it reaches the Lifestone.

Choose Your Challenge

You’ll be able to select Endless Mode from the start of a new game. For players who complete the regular campaign first, there will also be a new option to transition to Endless Mode after finishing night 12.

Once you start or transition into Endless Mode, that save will be permanently marked as an Endless Mode save. This means it will remain dedicated to your endless run and will not be eligible to continue through future major-update progression content.

Put Your Run to the Test

Endless Mode will also introduce a new main-menu stats screen that tracks your best attempts. You’ll be able to see your personal records for:

  • Highest day reached

  • Total enemies killed

  • Maximum essence collected

Bug Fixes

Alongside our work on Endless Mode, we’ve also addressed a few survivor-related issues:

  • Survivors can farm again.

  • Fixed issues survivors had with building.

We want every run to feel like a story worth trying to beat whether you’re chasing a new personal record, testing a risky defense layout, or seeing how far your co-op team can push into the night. Endless Mode is now live. We’ll have more to share as development progresses, and we look forward to seeing how long you can keep the Lifestone burning.

Thank you for playing, testing, and sharing your feedback with us. Every run, every bug report, and every suggestion helps shape the future of Stoneguard.

Thank you,

William and Honor

This happened when a survivor healed from a broken arm and the equip button was still disabled. - Screen resolutions, though it may still be a problem if the game detects a higher resolution from a second monitor.
