Hero Creator Experimental Update is Now Available

Hello everyone !

The Hero Creator experimental update is now available.

*IMPORTANT*
- You need to start a new game with this update. The old save game is incompatible with this version. -

Here are the details of the update:

- I reworked the main character of Alek
- Alek will become a young adult at level 10
- I reworked all the animations of the character
- I optimized the game performance / FPS Increased
- We will be able to craft a torch to light our way through the cave.
- I added new ambient music in the game.
- I added new passive and hostile animals and creatures like rabbit, buckdjeuve, caribou, mammoth, sabertooth, Yeti, Werewolf, polar bear, spiders, Shroom Guardian, Crystal Elemental and treants.

Create your own heroes

You can create your own heroes and join Alek and Victor Muller in the world of Zarabon.

The villagers are now all different visually and physically

Armor Parts

Villagers and heroes can now equip themselves with different pieces of armor such as helmet, chest armor, pants, gloves and boots. You can also assign an amulet and a ring to your hero and your soldiers to increase their capacity.

Barrack Training Camp

You can install targets to train your archers or dummies to train your soldiers.
This will allow you and your soldiers to level up and become stronger.

Forge

Use the forge to melt metals and craft ingots.

Mining Quarry Upgrade

You can install a large furnace to melt your metals and craft ingots. Your miners will take your ingots to the General Store.

General Store

You can now enter into the General Store and make your purchases and sales at the counter with a new, more appropriate menu.

Caves

You can explore the cave and extract resources like coal, iron, gold, silver and diamonds.

New Weapons & Shields

Werewolves

Werewolves appear during the night of a full moon. They are very dangerous but they can be very useful if you had a good relationship with them.

Cave in the village

You must eliminate all enemies in the cave so that your miners can enter and extract the resources.

Access blocked

Some accesses are blocked by doors with a lock that must be unlocked with a unique key that you must find. If this door is locked, the economic exchange will not be possible between the villages located in the winter and forest biomes.

You will be able to work in collaboration with the heroes of different villages to eliminate the cave trolls who will give you the key to open the door.

Map Expansion

I extended the forest biome and added the snowy mountains biome with 12 new lands that we can buy and build our village on.

Here is the list of things I still have to finalize

The Yetis villages

Yetis build their village in the snowy mountains. They are neutral in nature but aggressive. If you mine their resources, they will become enemies with you and will attack your villages randomly but if you bring them food, they will become allies with you and you will have access to a horn that you can use to call them when your village is attacked and there will come to your nearest village and help you fight the enemies.

Cave Troll

*Work in progress*
You will be able to fight the troll and choose to eliminate it or tame it and have the possibility of having it at your side. You will be able to mount it and destroy the enemy villages.

Road System

You can build roads in your villages. Villagers prioritized roads to reach their destination.

Rabbit Trap

*Work in progress*
You can make rabbit traps and place them in the woods so you can catch them.
Some rabbits can evolve into Buckdjeuve.

Buckdjeuve

*Work in progress*
The Buckdjeuve are very fast and dangerous. Their attack deals a lot of damage. You can capture them and mount them.

Saber-Tooth

*Work in progress*
You can build a large cage for capture the Saber-Tooth. Once captured, it will follow you and you will be able to mount it to attack enemies.

I'm going to work on a level 2 workbench that will allow us to make more advanced things.

You will be able to build a large cage to capture the Buckdjeuve and the saber-tooth.

You will be able to build a small cabin that you can enter in and be able to warm up and cook meals.

You will be able to make specific equipment so you can attach to your mount, so you can ride on the trolls, Saber-tooth, caribou and the mammoth.

We will be able to buy a Research Table so that our blacksmiths can discover how to make new equipments.

I will finish the Store manager Task. They will be able to take care of selling the surplus of our goods to the neighbouring village and they will be able to buy things that you may need.

We can hire a soldier or a hero that we have created they will come the village manager and he have to take care of managing our village. They will take care of rebuilding the destroyed buildings, they will also take care of managing the workers jobs and they will protect the village.
