Hi everyone!
As promised patch 1.03 is here and with it comes the release of the new Outbreak! Level pack as well as the free to play release of the base game.
Blobbs: Outbreak! is a brand new level pack i've been working on over the last 6 months or so and offers a whole new 70* levels of zombie filled puzzles to solve, just in time for halloween.
For the first time in the Blobbs series, this level pack also features a branching storyline where you can choose to either stop the outbreak by helping researchers research a cure for the infected blobbs, or take the more aggressive option and join the military destroy the outbreak with as much firepower as they can muster.
With this branch in the story, the level pack has a total of 70 levels and two different versions of the final boss so needless to say it's definitely been most complicated level pack developed for the game so far.
But that's not the only big news of this update!
Today the (base) game has gone free to play, which hopefully means we'll be welcoming a whole (zombie) horde of new players who can now pick up the game (including the Reloaded level pack) for free.
As a special thank you to all the legacy players who already purchased the game between since it's released in 2022, right up to today when it has gone free to play. I will be adding the Elemental Mayhem DLC, Mad Science DLC and the NEW Outbreak! DLC to the legacy package. Which to put it in simple terms, means that if you didn't already own Mad Science or Elemental Science, you'll be getting them for free along with all legacy players recieving a free copy of the new Outbreak level pack. Thanks again for giving Blobbs: Remastered a shot and for supporting a small indie dev!
