Hello Players,
Over the past two weeks, we have analyzed data gathered from users, read your constructive input, and reviewed suggestions on how to improve the game. The latest version, 1.0.8, incorporates some of the requests made by players during this time.
Content and features:
In this update, players now have the option to speed up movement. As you know, there are two docks in the game: an east-side dock and a west-side dock. From 6 am to 8 pm, you will now find a boat there, along with an individual offering transportation services for a fee of 5 pence (d).

To use the service, simply walk down to the dock, engage in conversation with the boatman, pay the fee, and moments later, you will be transported to the other side of the city. This transportation works both ways, from west to east and east to west.
Another content update in this version includes newspapers and family death events. For spoiler reasons, we won’t cover the specifics of family deaths here, but we can discuss the newspapers. There are now various stories and events described in newspapers nailed to the walls. These stories are based on real events from the plague outbreak and feature personal recollections recorded during that time.

Fixes and updates:
In addition to the new content, we’ve made some minor bug fixes and overall game improvements:
- Fixed a closing bug on controllers for the GoG version of the game.
- Fixed a sound bug that continued playing if you didn’t have enough money to buy from the fish market (only on the Epic version).
- Updated intro animation and adjusted movement speed in the intro.
- Updated family requirements after day 11.
We hope these improvements further enhance gameplay and provide a more satisfying experience for every player.
