Hello, Knights!
This is a bit of a surprise update since we originally planned to cease updates between 1.5 and Ember Knights 2.0 - Wrath of the Architect, but the following content could not be ignored!
EMBER CAT - GLOBAL COMMUNITY CHALLENGE
We've heard your requests for an Ember Cat to go along with our adorable Ember Dog, so we've created a global community challenge for our players to show us that there's enough interest for an Ember Cat. If there is, we are committed to making the Ember Cat a reality!
When you first launch the 1.5.2 update, you'll see a new icon on the main menu. Opening that will provide more information as to how the challenge works. In short, just keep doing what you do - go on runs, kill enemies, kill minibosses and bosses, and earn points!
Once in the Nexus, visit the new Wanted sign that the Stewards have so carefully built. This will be your home for keeping track of your personal progress as well as the global points total.
For your individual efforts, we've added some fun new rewards!
ASTRAL ASCENT COLLABORATION
We've been talking to the wonderful people over at Hibernian Workshop and it turns out, they're huge fans of Ember Knights! We also love what they're doing with Astral Ascent, so we decided to collaborate! We love what we've come up with and we think you will too!
Both games feature crossover content and in Ember Knights, you'll now see a cute little Yalee running around the Nexus. Interact with them and they'll give you a brand new skill - the Yalee Barrage. In addition, they'll also give you the Astral Ember Dust to unlock a brand new player color!
Also be sure to check out the latest update from Astral Ascent (also live today!) as they created their version of the Praxis fight!

New Content and Features
Ember Cat - Global Community Challenge 🔥
Kill enemies, bosses and minibosses, variant bosses and minibosses, and find the hidden kitty on your runs and collect points to contribute towards unlocking the Ember Cat!
Also includes:
- New weapon skins
- New cat ears cosmetic for your Knight
Astral Ascent Collaboration 🔥
Includes the following:
- New Yalee NPC
- New Skill - Yalee Barrage
- New Player Skin - Octave inspired
Bug Fixes
And a few fixes are included.
- Fixed a bug that was causing the player to take an incorrect amount of damage or armor reduction when they would take damage at the same time as gaining armor 🔥
- Fixed an issue in multiplayer where the players could become softlocked when waking up the Mimic King 🔥
- Fixed an issue in multiplayer where players were unable to refine relics in the refinement selector 🔥
- Fixed a few visual issues in multiplayer when a client would max out a weapon's mods before unlocking it
- Fixed a visual issue in multiplayer where the weapon podiums would stop glowing after the host opens the mod UI
- Fixed a bug where the Golden Steward could occasionally drop a charge speed gem 🔥
