Hello There!

Yesterday I Updated the demo build. With this new build comes the addition of a brand new intro that overhauls the tutorial and adds in a story into the game. Over the past month and half I've been adding a bunch of new features into the game that should help narratively introduce more people to the game.

The first notable addition is that of a dialogue system which I made from scratch that can handle pretty much anything you can expect from a dialogue system. I've added in tech to have small narrative clues that will vary each playthrough so keep you eyes peeled for those in the future.

With the new intro I've also redone the tutorial which should now be more in line with what people expect. The old intro was pretty hard and it did stop many from getting even past the first door. My hopes are that with this new flow we should be able to get many more people into the core game loop.

I won't go too much more in detail as you can experience all these changes for yourself in the demo right now so grab the update and try it out!

If you want to get more involved in the game dev process please join a stream on twitch or join my discord.

The demo for SOS: Forgotten Planet a survival horror game where you learn Morse Code is now updated to 0.6! The 0.6 Update introduces fabricators, completely rebalances the purchasable upgrades, and hosts a bunch of visual improvements. I've really found these changes h…In-game event25 Mar 20250.5.1 UpdateHello all Today I’m releasing another update for SOS: Forgotten Planet. The 0.5.1 update is mainly focused on smoothing over pain-points in progression, fixing bugs and updating the UI. So while there aren't any big fancy new things there’s still quite a few nice changes that should make the game play better. UI Changes I’ve moved around several things in the UI as they were a bit clunky and ge…
