Last Saturday was a wonderful day for the fellowship of Maratus, because we released the free prologue of ARISEN: Chronicles on Var’Nagal on Steam! After more than one year of hard work, we were proud and excited to share it with you!
Among the 2250 who added the prologue to their library, 350 of you beautiful people played it until now. Thank you, and thank you for the ones who let us some reviews! Actually we read them carefully and we take good note of what you have to say about the game.
Because we always try to do better for you travellers, we are working on these issues:
The English translation, even if we hired a professional translator to do it, was pretty bad so we asked to another company to do it again. As soon as we receive the whole text well translated, we will let you know!
Some of you were a little disappointed that you couldn’t choose another face or body for your character. We totally understand but we can’t afford multiple appearances for the player due to the fact that your character will appear in illustrations (the so called CGs). We may think about personalization in the next games ;)
A few people were wondering how we are dealing with mature themes and delicate subjects like misogyny, racism, transphobia, etc. We are working with two different (and wonderful) proofreaders: Racky, who is specialized in the subject of racism, and Johanne, who will check if the script isn’t offending about trans* people.
