Hello everyone, this is the Troubleshooter development team.
First, we deeply thank everyone who enjoyed Troubleshooter: Abandoned Children. Thanks to your love and support, we are now planning on our next title, Troubleshooter: Banished Children.
The sequel will be presented in the form of Early Access after 2 years of development. We apologize for presenting our sequel as Early Access even after a long development process despite many expectations from those who want to experience the sequel in its plain form as soon as possible.
Due to our lack of skill, the development process will take a long time, but we won’t stop doing our best to communicate with all our fans at all costs.
As a part of this effort, today we reveal some of our concept data for the sequel.
New Area ”Kalter Mountains”
Kalter Mountains is a region where located between the Iron Forest of Wind Wall District and the Fortress of Suffering.
This place is a demilitarized zone for the three world powers and is called the Kalter Reservation. Its residents are five tribes, with each of them named Frosthorn, Moonwolf, Starsong, Sandrock, and Blackmountain.
With this new setting, we wanted to present you with a new type of joyful experience while expanding the world of Troubleshooter.
New Characters
In Troubleshooter: Banished Children, there will be 10 main characters.
Each character has their own story, and their class will be inherited from the classes from Troubleshooter: Abandoned Children and will be adjusted. We aim to maintain the joy that an abundance of classes can present.
The following is the information about 5 of the 10 main characters.
Please note that these can be changed when the game is released.
Aurora
Her name is Aurora, but most of her friends call her Ari.
The story of her traveling through the Kalter Mountains will be the main plot of Troubleshooter: Banished Children.
Her main weapon is a bow and her basic class is Archer, and her advanced class will be Hunter and Bard.
Hannah
Her name is Hannah Redhorn. As a friend of the same age Ari, Hannah will act as another protagonist alongside Ari.
She is a member of the Frosthorn tribe who lives in the northern part of the Kalter Mountains. She is a brave, gregarious, just, and stubborn person.
Her main weapon is a one-handed axe and a shield. Her basic class is Shielder, and her advanced class will be Guardian and Highlander.
Yuri
His name is Yuri Leblanc. He’s the uncle of Binaca and as the Gold Spoon of the anti-government group Spoonist, he’s a dissident of security rank 『 Orichalcum 』.
Usually, he’s gregarious and generous, but his true nature is more calm and cynical. He’s traveling around the Kalter Mountains to find the other Spoonists led by Carter.
His main weapon is a bangle. His basic class is Mage, and his advanced class will be Black Mage and Red Mage.
Tyra
Her name is Tyra Goldsand. She’s a friend of Misty and a Troubleshooter of Vermilion, the Troubleshooter company that Rion made.
After hearing the news of her grandmother’s injury who is working as a sheriff at the Sandrock tribe in the Kalter mountains, Tyra took a vacation to revisit her hometown. She is an honest and diligent person but can be cynical sometimes. She is often misunderstood as a cold-hearted person due to those characteristics.
Her main weapon is a pistol. Her basic class is Gunslinger and her advanced class will be Bodyguard and Desperado.
Ryo
His name is Ryo Ryuzaki. He once served Kylie, the leader of the White Dragon Clan, and now he’s a Carp in the Game of Dragons held between the Nine Dragon Clan.
He headed to Kalter Mountains alone to fulfill the mission to be recognized as the Carp who represents the White Dragon Clan instead of Kylie.
His main weapon is a sword. His basic class is Swordsman, and his advanced will be Swordmaster and White Knight.
These 5 characters are the main characters that we made so far. We will reveal the information for other characters as soon as we finish them.
New enemies and factions
Frosthorn Tribe
A tribe that resides at the Highland of Frosthorn in the northern part of the Kalter mountains.
They used to raid other tribes and never refused to start a war but after the World War, they stopped being hostile to the other 4 tribes after forming the Kalter Alliance.
Due to the increasing population within the tribe and the ongoing cold weather that lasted for 3 years, Olaf, the new chieftain, decided to quit the alliance and return to their old traditions that relied on force and violence.
Gold Dragon Clan
One of the factions of the Nine Dragon Clan.
Its leader, Huang-YoungIn is also one of the High Commissioners of Valhalla. He wants to claim many interests in the Kalter Mountains that the superpowers have left untouched for a long time. With this, He wishes to become the Dragon by winning the Game of Dragons.
To fulfill his ambition, many members of the Gold Dragon Clan are sent across the Kalter Mountains and act on behalf of the clan.
Dark Moon
Dark Moon is a criminal group that is active in the underworld of Kalter Mountain and is considered a fearful faction across the region.
They are very dissatisfied with the situation that the 5 tribes rule over the region, and wish to change the situation by overthrowing each tribe’s system of power and thus starting the new era of Dark Moon.
New Beasts
Crocas
Crocas are the beasts that inhabit the Starsong Lake, the biggest lake in the region. Some of them have adapted to environments and are found in forests or even deserts.
Ummer
Ummers are the beasts that are widespread across the Kalter Mountains. Many hunting tribes teach how to hunt them to their young hunters. But watch out, careless hunters could be severely injured by Ummer’s powerful charge attack.
Zephygle
Zephygles are flying beasts that are easily found in the Sandrock desert, and tend to stay in the sky for most of the time. So if you want to hunt them, you must take the chance when they land.
Fogri
Don’t be fooled by their cute looks. Fogris are very hostile to strangers. Many outsiders who approach them without caution because of their cute looks have to face their anger and hurt badly.
Wag
Wags tend to form a passel and are famous for their strong appetite. They attack many villages and cause damage while seeking food, especially when their mating season begins in late summer.
Varg
Vargs are the apex predator of the Kalter Mountains. They are considered the strongest beasts in the Kalter Mountains.
with all these new beasts, you can also expect other beasts from “Troubleshooter: Abandoned Children” like Tima, Yasha, Negoori, Dorori, Mungo, and Crabmit.
The team aims to finish working on the settings this summer and start developing the game in the second half of the year.
