PLAYTEST EXTENDED - Tell us your thoughts and feedbacks about Mark of the Deep!

Greetings, crew! We have great news about the Mark of the Deep Playtest. 🏴‍☠️

Firstly, thanks everyone for subscribing for the Mark of the Deep Playtest, specially the players who gave us their feedbacks about the game. We’re thrilled to announce a Playtest extension, which will be available until May 1st: just sign up to the Playtest and the beta version will be in your Library instantly!

We would love to know more of your opinions on this beta of the game, and that's why we came up with a Playtest Feedback Form where you can tell us more details of your thoughts about Mark of the Deep gameplay, combat and performance. Filling it with your feedbacks and suggestions help us to develop an even better game at launch!

Besides, we would like to announce that we updated this beta version to fix some bugs and improve the overall gameplay based on your feedbacks. Some of them include:

Gameplay

• Skeleton Warden (the skeleton with a shield) hitbox fixed
• Some enemy locations changed
• We changed how enemies will track the player during an attack. Before it was too precise, giving an unfair feel to the combat. Now the player has a bigger time window to avoid attacks.

Visual Updates

• Ghost models updated to Skeleton Ghost models
• Player UI font updated
• Vendor, Journal and Stone Tablet screens updated

Performance

• Improved performance when interacting with breakable objects
