New for the Steam version of Aeternum

  • Online Leaderboards. Go for that high score in your favorite mode and difficulty!
  • Achievements. Show the world your bullet dodging skills. Good enough with a character to beat all the modes at the hardest difficulties? Get an extra special achievement!
  • Trading Cards. Collect all the characters of the main cast. Combine them into an arcane badge and get special Aeternum emoticons to use in chat. Try for the extra special Techno-Corgi emoticon!
  • New Playable Character. Already played through Ellica's story? See the events of The Missing Students and The Girl in the Hyperspace Closet through the eyes of newcomer technology studies major CeeBee!
  • Updated OpenGL Engine. XNA is no more, but that doesn't mean it can't live on thanks to FNA! FNA is based on OpenGL for fast and portable video, and OpenAL for portable audio.
  • Expanded Controller Support. Also thanks to FNA's usage of SDL for platform support, Aeternum now supports a broader range of gamepads, including Playstation controllers which have their own button image support.
