It's been a week since Door in the Woods was released and already a ton of changes and fixes was done thanks to your feedback.

If you have been doubting your own sanity because of the seemingly always changing balance of the game then please be assured it was actually me patching the game every day since release:D

Besides minor additions like the chainsaw or delicious ramen noodles, a myriad of bugs was squashed and the ability to burn down houses was greatly enhanced along with performance optimization of fire in general.

The game continues to evolve in terms of balance. In particular the Madman was severely nerfed to make "farming" experience with him harder. Madman is now constantly losing sanity and will require multiple sources of sanity restoration to regain any of it.

Sanity mechanics are undergoing changes that are aimed at making the game as tense and interesting as possible. All sources of immediate sanity restoration were removed and reading notes now grants experience while eating the Odd Fruit now has a chance to grant experience at the cost of sanity.

The infamous "sprint" exploit was removed and will never return as using it was completely missing the point of the whole game. You cannot run from the horrors and there is no escape.

Here is a list of items added since launch:
- chainsaw
- hatchet
- tin can
- gas grenade
- bowl of ramen
- soccer ball
