The release date of Black Myth: Wukong has been revealed in a new story trailer which premiered on The Game Awards 2023: it will be August 20, 2024.
Our latest trailer features extensive new gameplay footage and in-game cinematics, all captured on PC.
If you are new to the game, here's what you should know:
- Black Myth: Wukong is an action RPG rooted in Chinese mythology. You shall set out as the Destined One to venture into the challenges and marvels ahead, to uncover the obscured truth beneath the veil of a glorious legend from the past.
- We have shared more than 60 minutes of gameplay footage online. You can find them under "Black Myth" or "Black Myth: Wukong" on video platforms like YouTube.
- Black Myth: Wukong is inspired by Journey to the West, one of China's most famous fantasy novels. Reading this epic tale beforehand might sprinkle extra surprises into your game experience (but don’t worry, it’s not a prerequisite for the fun).
Black Myth: Wukong will be available on Windows PC, PlayStation®5, and Xbox Series X|S on August 20, 2024. You can now wishlist it on Steam and the Epic Games Store.
