Map Making Contest #13 Now Live!

Hey everyone!

It’s that time of the year!
Following our tradition, from today until November 6th, our popular Halloween Map-Making Contest will go live!

We can’t wait to see your maps filled with horrors and spooky entities ready to be mauled!

NOTE

To maintain a fun, fair, and competitive environment, previous winners from the intermediate/ novice categories will be required to compete in one tier higher than before (e.g. Novice winners will now compete in intermediate). Should this person not win the following MMC, they can rejoin all categories during the next event.

We see this as an opportunity to ensure a fair and competitive space for all participants of our MMCs, allowing players to compete with those within their skill level.

Advanced Tier winners will keep participating in the Advanced category, but if they don’t win this time, they will be free to submit in lower categories in the next MMC.

Contest Details

3 Tiers Format

  • There will be 3 winners, with tiers broken down into Advanced, Intermediate and Novice.
  • The tier in which you participate is entirely up to you; every category is open, but note that you can post only 1 map in total, so think carefully before deciding.

Submission System

  • Submissions are limited to one map, so choose which tier you enter wisely.
  • You can submit your level as a collaboration, but be sure to arrange the prize management autonomously.

Submission Rules

  • Any cheating (stealing prefabs, trying to post multiple levels, etc.) will disqualify your level.
  • Be sure to follow the Steam Workshop Guidelines: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=4045-USHJ-3810&l=english
  • Your map must be posted in one of the submission channels before November 6th 2023
  • Contest moderators are not allowed to participate.

Prizes

  • Each tier will have one winning map, replacing our previous 3 places system.
  • The prize distribution is as follows: Advanced winner: $100, Intermediate winner: $50, Novice winner: $20
  • The prize will be distributed through Steam Gift Cards.

A lot was changed and added throughout Early Access through to the 1.0 release and we’re so grateful and fortunate the game has continued to be played and enjoyed on PC, Consoles and VR. While we have been working for years now on our next games, ideas for PTTR keep coming.…Paint the Town RedGame update26 Sep 2024Paint the Town Red VR version 1.1.0 UpdateThis update is mainly focused on adding support for bHaptics devices (TactSuit, Tactosy and TactVisor) for increased immersion while playing in VR. Additionally we've added an additional mode to the Arena called 'Swarm' which lets you use a range of unbreakable weapons fight forever against never-ending human and zombie enemies. It's a great way to practise, exercise or just relieve the stress…
