Hello Adventurers! 👋

We hope you had no problems playing Miniland!
However, if you struggled with anything on your way, we have some tips in this beginner's guide for you!

1. First of all you should know how to create your world!

Every morning you will be able to choose new biome cards. The indicator will show you if there are new cards available, in case you forgot!

Open and close editing mode with SPACE, and select biomes you want to receive.

Once received you can select which ones you like and place them where you want too!

2. Keep an eye on your health, hunger and thirst!

With time you will become more hungry and more thirsty. You can choose from a variety of food like: cooked meat, vegetables, eggs, nuts or soups!

For drinking, the most recommended option is sweet water! You can collect salt water from the ocean with an empty cup or a bucket with RMB. After that, boil it in the furnace to get sweet water.

You can also get sweet water from other sources eg. by melting snow in a bucket.

3. Craft a bed or prepare weapons!

You shouldn’t worry about surviving the first 3 nights… but after that, on each night monsters will appear!

Make sure you have a comfy bed ready to sleep in for the night or weapons ready to take on enemies!

Also remember to place torches and lamps around as well as building a house! Monsters won’t appear in lit places, which is a perfect solution too!

4. Don’t forget about the ladder!

Once you craft or find the ladder, be sure to check where it can lead you! You’ll find plenty of useful resources in the underground, just don’t forget to take a few torches and a sword on your way!

5. Make friends with the goblins!

Along your adventure you will meet several goblins. Don’t worry, they’re friendly! Each of them have different professions and different trade offers.

Trade offers are dependent on their satisfaction level. First you’ll need to place a goblin’s bed nearby them. After that check what furniture and building materials they like, and build a beautiful house for them! Place the furniture in the goblin’s bed area.

That way they'll be happy and you will get access to awesome trades in exchange!

6. Check the help in-game, or ask on our discord server!
