Welcome again, Dreamers! We’ve all seen some captivating footage from the world of Being & Becoming for long enough, but now it’s time to lift the veil and take a glimpse into what this world actually is.
In Being and Becoming, you are dropped into the Dream. The king of a seaside kingdom falls into a deep slumber that twists the kingdom’s majestic architecture into a nightmarish world and its once-dignified citizens into a mockery of what they once were. The Dream can manifest any thought and desire into reality, but as the hearts of men grow dark, only a twisted nightmare is born from their minds. They need only ask the mysterious Dreamcatcher for their desires to become realized…
You, however, are different.
As a Lucid Dreamer, you can stay in control and dispel the Dream. It is up to you to visit various locations throughout the Kingdom and save or slay that which lurks there.
As you venture into each part of the kingdom, you will have to defeat an especially powerful being influenced by the Dream. Be wary though, as each battle may have unforeseen and permanent ramifications…
