It's been a while since we've given an update on what's going on in the world of LaHS, and we've gathered some information on upcoming sales, community items, and game content updates, so let's get going!
Sale
The Steam Spring Sale is about to start this Thursday (16.03) and will last for a week, where everyone will be able to purchase LaHS at a discounted price. This is our first sale since the game's release, and seeing how many players are anticipating it, we decided to promote it at 30%! Don't forget to let your friends know!
Community Items
We are extremely pleased to announce that LaHS has qualified for a group of games entitled to add Cards, Badges and Profile Backgrounds, which you will be able to acquire by playing the game and exchanging with other users. Well... the truth is that we qualified some time ago, which we also already announced, so we are extremely pleased to announce that the cards have just been launched! We're already past the rounds of Valve checking these items (yes, they're checking that they meet the Community Criteria and that we're not, for example, trying to squeeze in some nudity in somewhere), we've made a few minor adjustments and these have been approved. So you can try to get a total of 6 cards with our ladies (plus our badges, backgrounds, etc.). If you already have enough game time on your timer, the cards should add to your inventory automatically.
Content Update
If you have been with us from the beginning, you probably know that we were planning to release a DLC. Yes, we planned, we are still planning it and still working on it. It's taking us a little longer than we expected, but that's mainly because we had to take care of a few things in our personal lives.
Nonetheless, we are really close to finishing the work. We're left with the final touches, text translation and decent testing of the whole thing. And there is a lot to test!
In terms of important information - we stand by our promise and the update will be completely free and available to all who own a copy of LaHS. We also decided that it will not be a "DLC" existing as a separate package requiring download/installation, but simply an integral part of the game that everyone will receive automatically.
The centerpiece of the update is a maid who (for a small fee) will be able to come to the main character's apartment and keep it clean. We've taken into account your suggestions that the mechanics of getting the apartment dirty can be a nuisance, and we're happy to introduce something that will improve the enjoyment of the game.
The maid is not just any maid, of course, and she is Yukiko Hirano-chan, who we have already introduced on our Patreon.
Also, you can find there illustrations of two (and soon a third) close encounters with her, which you will of course be able to get during the game. So if you can't wait for the details, please visit our Patreon (and by the way, thank you all for your tremendous support! Soon we hope to reward you with more bonus illustrations and.... animated scenes!).
In the course of the game you will be able to learn about the dark history of Yukiko-chan.
The key point for its development (and unlocking more scenes) will be a mini-game, but don't worry! We've taken into account all your comments regarding the two mini-games already present, and this one shouldn't be so frustrating. I don't want to give you spoilers regarding Yukiko-chan's story itself as well as the mini-game, but catch a little preview of what we have in store for you!
