How we made the endslate for Mega City Police Trailer ❤️

Hello Agents

Today, we would like to share with you a story of how we created the endslate for the Mega City Police!

Watch on YouTube

We wanted to create something cool and original for the Mega City Police Trailer. We're crazy about Retro and Retrowave stuff, with all those vibes that make you want to immerse yourself completely while listening to tracks by Droid Bishop or Timecop1983, sublunar, Nightcrawler, Midsummer EX, Occams Laser, Pixel Rebel and other great artists!

So, we decided to put together a Retro installation for the endslate of MCP Trailer. We needed a CRT television, video cassettes, an old camera, a VCR, and some other small items.

We are based in Batumi, Georgia, and finding all these things proved to be quite a challenging task. It's a small city, but one with very generous and friendly people. So, we decided to simply wander around the city after work and ask passers-by and electronics store owners where we could find all this stuff.

Over the course of a week, we explored the entire city and managed to find a television, which the staff at a service centre kindly gave us after we explained the purpose of our project and mentioned Mega City Police. They were really excited and even added the game to their wishlist XD.

Different strangers suggested going to the Turkish district for the cassettes, while others offered to lend us cassettes from their homes. Someone even invited us to visit their countryside house basement, where they had stored cassettes (that was pretty scary and far away from the city, so we decided to move on).

In the end, we gathered the cassettes, a video camera, and a VCR from a specialist who digitized video cassettes. He gave us a huge bag with everything we needed, and we happily went to our office to finally set up the coolest Retro installation.

And there it is, you can see it:

We really love the entire story of hunting for these items for the installation, and we are incredibly happy that there are so many wonderful people in the world willing to help create something cool and inspiring. We hope that we've captured the right and captivating vibes in our Retro installation, which carries a story :)

PS: First content update will be live soon, stay tuned 😉❤️
