The biggest card drop of 2023 is releasing tomorrow, bringing 36 new cards to the game.

To support the new card drop, we are also making changes to existing cards, as found below.

New Features
The Tide Rises - The wheels turn, the waves crash—cities burn while swords clash. The Tide Rises, are you ready for it?

This card drop introduces six new cards to each playable faction.

New Keyword - Might - Trigger this ability if you control a unit with 10 or more power on each of your rows.

New Keyword - Vice - Trigger this ability after you spent the specified amount of Coins, then reset own Counter.

Changes

Neutral
Spring Equinox - Ability changed to: Doomed. Boost an allied unit by 0. Increase the boost by 1 for each Nature card other than Spring Equinox in your starting deck.

Monsters
Golyat - Power changed from 10 to 12.

Jotunn - Power changed from 3 to 1. Provision cost changed from 6 to 8. Ability changed to: Deploy: Boost self by the total base power of Ice Giants in your starting deck.

Cyclops - Power changed from 4 to 5.

Ice Troll - Power changed from 4 to 5. Armor changed from 0 to 2. Ability changed to: Might: At the end of your turn, boost self by 1.

Skellige
Crach an Craite - Now also has the Warrior tag.

Wild Boar of the Sea - Power changed from 4 to 6.

An Craite Armorsmith - Provision cost changed from 4 to 5.

Ability changed to: Deploy: Boost an allied unit by the amount of Armor on the highest-Armor unit in your hand.

An Craite Greatsword - Now also has Veteran.

Highland Warlord - Added VFX to the Deploy ability.

Northern Realms
Queen Meve - Now also has the Aristocrat tag. Ability changed to: Deploy: Reduce the Timer by 1 for each adjacent unit with an Inspired ability. Timer 3: Boost all allied units by 1 and reset the Timer. Whenever this unit receives a boost, gain 1 Armor.

All the other Kings and Queens (including Ildiko) - Now also have the Aristocrat tag.

Scoia'tael
Spring - Ability changed to: Manual activation of a face-down Trap. Spring is activated automatically on a Trap played next to an artifact. Cards with Spring are flipped over after use.

Éibhear Hattori - Power changed from 2 to 6. Provision cost changed from 9 to 6. Ability changed to: Whenever you play an artifact, boost the lowest-power allied unit by 3.

Iorveth - Power changed from 4 to 6.

Iorveth's Gambit - Added new part of ability: If you have 6 or more Traps in your starting deck, play 2 of your choice instead.

Nilfgaard
Ard Feainn Heavy Cavalry - Provision cost changed from 5 to 4.

Syndicate
No changes.

Game Fixes
Friendly challenges are once again functional on Steam.
Stratagems, especially Tactical Advantage, will no longer play tricks on your eyes.
Acid Spit's Infusion no longer fails to spread when the power is set to 1 by Wolfsbane or Vincent Meis.
