- New Intro Cinematics
We've got a lot of feedback that the old intro didn't give a sense of what was happening, so we've basically redone it! Check!
- Enhanced Onboarding Experience
We've noticed that many players had difficulties in understanding how the game works early on, especially with changing channels and also turning on the TV broadcast run by Stella. Hence, we've made improvements to facilitate the early game experience with better elaborations of the basic controls. Check!
- Separating Spy Journal & Spy Manual(Tutorial)
We've noticed that we had too much information in the file folder. Pretty much everyone skipped through it. So, we've taken measures to separate it into a Spy Journal and a Spy tutorial. The Spy Journal will keep track of the activities the player experiences as a log. The Spy Manual will focus more on learning how to use the surveillance system with simple instructions of the short-keys that will help you learn the game early on. This way, we hope that players can hop on and focus on your mission as a spy. Check.
- New Mechanism for Interventions
We've created a new puzzle game for those instances where you can interfere with the events inside the surveillance camera. During these moments of intervention, now the player can explore the actual rooms with a lot more to click and solve. Check.
- Improved Storytelling
We've taken actions to improve the storytelling inside the surveillance camera. We noticed that there was just too much information for the player to digest while the feeds were running simultaneously, so we've made it easier for you to distinguish between the information that is important and the information that can be disregarded. This includes improved text dialogs, scan objects and the keywords associated with the information that is required to derive conclusions you want to report back to HQ. Check.
- VO's
Finally, we had the time to implement the VO's played by amazing actors and actresses. We are really happy how the voices make the game more interactive and way more fun to play delivering so much more concept and vibe. You'll get a better feel of the characters like the contact, phone calls and Stella's morning news! Check.
- Of Course, Minor Bug Fixes!
We've fixed minor bugs, including camera issues, SFX, and animations.
