Greetings Pharaohs,

As stated in last month’s article, this time we’re ready to give you an update regarding
Pharaoh: A New Era development. Steam Next Festival in February 2022 gave us a real opportunity to gather and study community feedback and we can't thank you enough for that. The development team has been working wholeheartedly on the game, and with this community effort, succeeded in addressing significant fixes and improvements.

What about the release date?

At this point, we can now confirm that Pharaoh: A New Era development is completed. However, to ensure launching the game under the best possible condition, we're officially postponing the launch to Q1 2023.

Why postpone the release date if the development is over?

At the moment, the team is 100% focused on debugging/polishing step. In other words, identify and reproduce bugs/glitches or any other technical issues that will impact players' experience in order to find a fix and solve them accordingly. With Pharaoh: A New Era’s scope, we cannot rush nor skip this crucial step that will ensure you play the game that meets your expectations.

Are you going to give us any updates in the next weeks?

Absolutely. We've been quiet for too long and we heard you. So, here's a preview of what's
coming up next:

December: NEW interview with Louis Godart, the main composer of Pharaoh: A New Era’s
soundtrack.
January: NEW dev blog about game development and how community feedback helped us to address in-game improvements.

support. Your constructive feedback also helped us capture the original game’s spirit as you time-travel throughout Ancient Egypt and its 4000 years of history.
