With version 22.09 there are some major changes, which we briefly summarize here. We hope to inform you briefly about the changes. If you have any questions, please contact us in Discord!
Shipper types
With patch 22.09 there will be another company type called "Out of competition". In this mode companies have more freedom in our system.
+ In case of an accident, a save can be used to reset the freight damage
+ A separate system statistics for this mode
We will also extend these freedoms in perspective.
Orders that are driven in this company mode and would still be valid according to the rules of the light realism mode will still be included in the user statistics.
However, this statistic is temporarily deactivated in this mode and cannot be viewed. After switching to the light realism mode, the user statistics will be available again.
Thus, every user has the possibility to decide freely about his desired play style and fairness is maintained towards all companies in the system.
"Synced Cruise Control"
Furthermore, the new patch introduces a new convoy assistant to SpedV.
To use this, a driver must always select the driver directly in front of him in the Drive tab. There is a new button for this. In the game, the assistant can be switched on and off using the key combination {SCROLLOCK}-{C}. This will then control your own cruise control speed depending on the distance and speed of the driver ahead. The target distance can be adjusted in the professional settings.
It should be noted here that this mode does not free you from steering and also from the required attention! In addition, the driver in front should make sure not to deactivate the cruise control if possible (i.e. also brake with it). Due to the speed restriction by SCS, the function only works correctly from about 40 km/h upwards.
In addition, it is now possible to have the cruise control speed automatically throttled if it is higher than the speed limit. This function must be activated manually after each start by clicking on the speed limit display.
Light functions
Been kicked again in TruckersMP because the light was off? This can't happen to you from now on, as SpedV automatically turns on the lights at night. In addition, after an abrupt stop, the hazard warning lights will be switched on automatically. Both functions can be deactivated in the settings.
Parking function
Trucks can now be "parked" in the own truck list and in the branch system. This causes them to not be used for tasks. This makes it possible to use multiple trucks of the same type and better filter which one should be used in the next task. In addition, the fleet management can exclude individual trucks from new taks and thus e.g. mark them for maintenance.
Minor changes
In order to ban less users for minor rule violations, there is now the possibility to warn them only. A warned user must confirm the warning after login. Even expired bans must be confirmed. Hereby we hope to increase the understanding of our rules.
Telegram notifications can now be filtered by type, this should reduce potential spam in larger companies.
When adding Kontor orders via the {SCROLLOCK}-{K} function, it will now automatically save and load if a quicksave was used on the last import.
Lastly, we have completely reworked our updater, biggest change here is the automatic installation of dependencies like the .NET Desktop Runtime.
