Hello Wardens! The weather has gotten colder since we have last spoken, so have you been staying warm inside the comforts of the prison while keeping those inmates subjugated? Today I bring to you a couple of announcements! ːkarrynGlassesː
Karryn's Prison has now been updated to v.1.1.0!! Details are posted at the end of this post! With the v.1.1.0 includes the long awaited Chinese localizations! We deeply thank you for your patience during all the delays, but we think the wait is worth it to have an official high quality translation that we're happy with! ːkarrynFanː
There was actually suppose to be one more item happening with this update, which was the release of our first DLC, the Gym Trainer DLC, or atleast an announcement of its release date. However, during the beta test that started two days ago, the feedback on it has been way below expectations so we will be delaying the DLC for further review and development. - Added Simplified and Traditional Chinese localization!
- Added a voice to the title screen.
- Added new facial variations to the Level 2 Defeated battle.
- Lowered the requirement for a few side job related Titles.
- Made minor ongoing changes to the Waitress Side Job.
- Changed the effect of the Edict Hire Bar Waiters.
- Changed the effect of the Edict Repair Visiting Room C and Repair Visiting Room D.
- Fixed a bug with Hardworking Waitress Title.

- Fixed enemies in Defeat Battles indecisively dancing around Karryn.
- Fixed the Force 60 FPS setting being disabled even when not playing on a Steamdeck.
- Fixed a bug with the Chinese localization text files not being properly used while subscribed to Sushikun's unofficial translation workshop mod.
v1.1.0b Changelog
- Fixed an issue with being unable to load into a battle using an old save file. The game will take longer to load images the first time you enter a battle with an old save, this is working as intended because the game is trying to fix stuff behind the scenes.

- Changed the requirement for the waitress Steam achievement from thirty shifts to twenty shifts.
- Experimental change to audio caching for sound effects that hopefully reduces lag for some sound effects. Credits to #madtisa#8743 on our Discord!
