What a month it was for The Last Oricru!
We visited several gaming conventions around the world, showing the game to (hundreds? thousands? billions?) of players. It was wonderful to see their reactions and get their feedback!

At Gamescom we had not one, not two, but three booths – and even cosplayers dressed as our main hero Silver, along with the beloved Queen Hadriana. And not just any cosplayers. Queen Hadriana was played by none other than the amazing Lightning Cosplay.
You can imagine how proud we were to see our heroes brought to life.

We were also part of the Best Lineup at Gamescom.

From Germany we went straight to Washington and PaxWest, where we met with many great people ….

… where, thankfully, Tobi managed not to cut anyone with his borrowed chainsaw.

From there we continued to the Tokyo Game Show (TGS), where we were part of the Plaion booth. We have to say you could feel the great atmosphere of this show.

Then we had a short break (even we need to breathe a little), before we divided and conquered, doing two conferences at the same time: EGX London, along with CzechInvest. We sent teams to both, and had a great time at each.

But the cherry on top was GDS, the Game Developers Session, right here in our stomping grounds, Prague, Czech Republic. We sponsored the opening party of the conference, with a big part of our team in attendance to celebrate the coming release of the game.

Even the amazing Brian Caspe (voice actor of our main hero) was there.

And of course we had branded cakes.

Reception of The Last Oricru at the show itself was great ....

..... and even the legendary Martin Klíma from Warhorse Studios came to play the game.

Then, to top it all off, we won the Best Game of GDS award.
When we started this project it was our dream to be recognized at this conference (one of the oldest in Europe, by the way). And now, just before release of The Last Oricru, at the 20th GDS …
The dream came true.

Thank you to all who were able to visit us at one of these shows. We heard many encouraging words from you, and it means a lot to us. Especially since, at this late stage of development, we’ve been working very hard, long hours, trying to find the last bugs and squash them before release, and then to see the smiles on your faces …
It’s all been worth it.
Be ready. The Ratvolution is quite close now. The Last Oricru releases digitally on October 13th, on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series.
