We've seen a couple of way to increase your firepower when needed, today we're going down a similar route but a little more specific.
In FORECLOSED, Evan will sometimes come up against enemies carrying a large shield. They can be tricky to take down, and continue to fire at you from around their protective wall making them a dangerous adversary.
So, what can you?
Sure you can utilise cover and just punch through eventually with sheer force, but there are smarter ways to fight.
The first would be to utilise a mod for the Symbiotic Pistol that will punch right through the pesky shields.
As we know, you don't have free reign to fire away for too long without overheating Evan's implants, but used correctly you'll have the edge you need to take down that shield. You can see the mod activated with a blue flash in-between enemies to denote the Symbiotic Pistiol syncing with Evan's implants and activating any equipped weapon skill.
A different way to approach this would be to utilise Evan's implants and use the 'slam' power. Typically Slam will do exaclty what it says on the tin and slam an enemy into the ground, but when used on a shielded enemy it'll rip that shield right out of their hands and leave them vulvernable to your attacks.
So when you come up against shield enemies, you'll have a couple fo options at your disposal to deal with them, or you could find your own way through these tricky enemies.
