Patch 1.2

Hey all.
Welcome to the Speedrun QoL patch.
(dot points at bottom)

Speedrun Changes:

Two new buttons have been added that provide a shortcut for some menuing or Alt-F4ing.
Respawn will teleport you to the starting room and Reset will wipe your current save file and reload it.
Neither of these will prevent you from setting leaderboard times or gaining achievements.

Speedrun practice mode contains a number of features, but activating it will lock that save file out from setting leaderboard times and gaining achievements until the save file is reset.
Features of practice mode include modifying the timescale, setting quick spawn points and quick killing bosses.

Balance Changes:

Some bosses will be easier and some will be harder. The Twins have slightly more health. The Babysitter has less health and slightly altered attack patterns that should be less luck reliant to avoid. The Gatekeeper has had all of its attacks made slightly tougher.
Some level geometry and enemy positions have been altered.

Bug Fixes:

Visual bug preventing the start zone from having the right colour when the a save file is loaded has been fixed.
Since dropping native PS4 controller support in patch 1.1, there is no conflict between Xbox and PS4 dpad axis names, so dpad support for xbox controllers has been added. This will hopefully mean a nicer experience for users of PS4 mapping software.
Added some checks to the per-room respawn system. A back up spawn position will be saved when you enter the room, and if the regular spawn point is found to be unsafe, it will fallback to the back up. Unsafeness is determined by time between room load and death, between regular respawn set and death, and between respawn time and death. It won't catch all cases, but I'm trying to find a solution that works for both speedrunners (who have already started speculating about uses for respawn point manipulation) and casual players. Hopefully this will work for the highest number of people.

This one is a much bigger patch than I was originally planning, so there is the potential for some bugs falling through the cracks. If you encounter any issues (or just have any thoughts on the speedrun/balance changes) I'm trying to keep a close eye on the discussions here, or alternately come talk to me/other players here: discord.gg/SyEKQmT

Thanks again for playing, hope y'all have fun.
Frank
