The Public Test Server is now Available on Steam!

Thank you for taking the time to help us test upcoming content, your participation and feedback are greatly appreciated! If you wish to learn more about The Old Republic™, head to our main store page.

To transfer your character the Public Test Server, follow these instructions:

1. Log into www.swtor.com.
2. Click on your account name in the top right hand corner of the site.
3. Click “My Account.”
4. n the left column, scroll down and click the link entitled “PTS Character Copy.”
5. Select the server and then the character that you wish to copy from.
6. Click the “Copy Character” button.
7. The site will display the current status of your character copy at the top of the page. Additionally, you can click the “View your character transfer history” link to see if the copy has completed.

Public Test Server:

1. Go to the Store page of Star Wars: The Old Republic
2. Scroll down until you see the following section:
   
3. Click on the "Click here" link to download the PTS.
4. When ready, the Star Wars: The Old Republic PTS will appear in your game list.
5. Select the Star Wars: The Old Republic PTS from this list.
6. When available, click "Play"
7. In order to access the PTS, your Steam and SWTOR accounts need to be linked. To do that, launch the game via Steam and sign in with your credentials. Following that your two accounts will then be linked!

Note: The Public Test Server is only available in English and your account has to have Subscriber status to access it.
