Eidaa has Arrived!
The newest outlaw, Eidaa, has come to battle against the State. She is a talented skirmisher who brings both sword and sorcery to the battlefield.
As a hybrid character, Eidaa is capable of both dodging and parrying her way to victory. While she can effectively keep up the pressure in fights, she has lower health than the other melee characters, so careful stamina management will be the key to success!
Her abilities include replenishing vital gearboxes to keep her and her allies in top shape and throwing a tar bomb that slows and damages enemies. Her ultimate is a magical shield that can block enemy projectiles, perfect for locking down key sightlines and protecting essential objectives.
Like the other characters, she comes with several cosmetics and perks to customize her look and feel while out on heists!
The Winch Rework
Season 1 also introduces a rework of the Winch System. Each team will now have their own independent progress on the winch to achieve victory. Completing the early-game objectives, like pickpocketing the Sheriff, opening the vault, and placing the chest, will each grant you a completed notch when the chest is placed, giving you a significant head start. This rewards teams who work quickly and quietly for the final phase of the heist.

Twitch Drops!
Watch out for free skins! Steam users will be able to grab 5 free skins from the "Fang & Claw" set by watching Hood: Outlaws & legends on Twitch. This event takes place from Thursday September 2 (11 AM CEST) to Monday September 6 (11 AM CEST) Here is how it works:
- Watch Hood for 30 minutes on Twitch to get a Tooke and Robin skin.
- Watch Hood for 2 hours to get a John, Eidaa and Marianne skin.

All six maps now playable in co-op
Three new maps are brought to State Heist, the new co-op mode, in Season 1. You will now be able to attack a fortified snow-tipped keep in Mountain, battle across the cliffy shores of Coastal, and assault the swampy wetlands of Marshland.

Alongside Season 1 is Hood: Outlaws and Legends' first Battle Pass. Unlock a wide variety of unique outlaw appearances, weapons, and banners to defeat your foes with both style and skill.

New Content
Battlepass content – Season 1
Discover and unlock 82 cosmetics & 21 banners and titles for all the characters, representing more than 100 hours to unlock all the content.
New playable character
- Embody Eidaa the Sellsword, the 5th Outlaw of Hood.
- Eidaa is a skilled melee warrior, very efficient in one on one fights
- She can evade and parry.
- Help your teammates by restocking the gear boxes.
- Use her tar grenade to slow your enemies and inflict damage at the same time.
- Her ultimate ability, the Bulwark, is a magical shield which blocks every projectile and explosion. Her own team will still be able to shoot through it.
New maps for the State Heist game mode
Experience the PvE game mode, State Heist, in 3 new maps: Marshland, Coastal and Mountain.

Improvements
New winch system in Outlaw Heist
Winching phase during PvP games has a new design which aims to make the outcome of a match fairer than it used to be:
- Each team has its own winch progression bar.
- Win notches by completing the objectives such as stealing the key, opening the vault, and putting the chest in the winch.
Crossplay console option
Select the crossplay console option to play only between console players for faster matchmaking.
New aim sensitivity
- Mouse sensitivity and gamepad axis sensitivity are adjustable.
- New aim sensitivity multiplier settable option for gamepad and mouse.
Bugfixes
UI
- Fixed an issue where the interaction prompt disappears unless the character moves, after quitting some menus.
- Fixed the home spawn icon which is missing on almost all maps.
- When Marianne has the key and uses a smoke bomb, opposing players can still see the key through the smoke.
- Fixed a situation when Marianne uses her ability while holding the key, which still gives away her position.
- Fixed a bug where the kill feed is not working properly when two players with the same name are in the same game.
Gameplay
- Fixed an issue where Robin & Marianne's melee strike may not chain properly should the user spam the attack button.
- Fixed an issue where Tooke's "Roaming Monk" applies to teammates when being a ghost and following them.
Stability
General stability improvements.
Animation
Fixed an issue where the defensive early exits may not be working as intended.
VFX
Fixed an issue where there is blood VFX displayed when Marianne uses her sprint attack in the Hideout shops.
Audio
Players can now correctly hear other players’ footsteps behind them.
Level Design
An invisible collision preventing proper movement in Docks on Graveyard has been removed.
Localization
Fixed a few localization issues.
