Hey guys!
This week has been crazy, we have had hundreds of new shoppers and tons more support!
as such we have found some pesky bugs but have also had the chance to work on new stuff for Sunset Mall!
Here is an overview:
- Small bug fixes
- Fixed resolution bug
- Discord Button on the menu
- Store Types are back to normal!
- New Soundtrack (Mall Quest Soundtrack)
- Sunset Mall MacOS, Linux and SteamOS Support!
The BUGS
We have found a few pesky bugs in the game that are now fixed, this covers stuff from AI glitches and props spawning inside of each other and all the way up to a very annoying resolution bug!
they are all fixed now!
Discord
The Discord server has gotten new members and we now have a goal to become a verified server, this means we need to get to 500 members!
Help us out by joining, there is now a button on the main menu to help you do this quickly!
Store Types
Back when Sunset Mall first came out, the stores had set types, for example 'Millennium' would always be a game store, 'Lackluster' would always be a VHS store, it seems in one of the updates this was broken and the stores just became random. I can't for the life figure out when or how this happened but it is now fixed!
Mall Quest Soundtrack
To celebrate the roots of Sunset Mall, the soundtrack of Mall Quest created by Chalet Magical has been added for free download on Steam. Go check it out in the soundtrack section!
New OS Support!
We started on Windows but I have always had high hopes to bring Sunset Mall to every platform, today was the first step towards this goal. You can now get Sunset Mall on Linux and SteamOS as well as MacOS as well as previously being released on Android and soon IOS.
This means the game is now supported on a huge range of systems like Mac and Macbooks, Linux machines, Windows PC's, SteamDecks, phones the list continues!
I still would like to release the game on:
- Playstation
- Xbox
- Switch
- IOS
