Classic turn-based indie RPG with tag-team mechanics
September 1st, 2021: Quartet, the second retro-inspired JRPG from games studio Something Classic, is live on Kickstarter now until September 30th, 2021. A spiritual successor to Something Classic’s 2017 release, Shadows of Adam, Quartet lets players control eight characters across four stories that gradually merge into one epic quest. From the steampunk-inspired streets of Leornia, to the airship battles that rage on the battlefront of the Auslen Empire, Quartet takes players on an adventure they will never forget! Meet a remarkable cast of characters including a snooty mage, a disillusioned soldier, an irreverent cook, a troubled shop girl, a sentient water mammal, a dashing doctor, a magical cop, and an ancient golem. ABOUT QUARTET
Quartet begins with four separate chapters, playable in any order. In those four chapters, players meet eight unlikely heroes, and get to see how the stories intertwine into an epic narrative surrounding the war over the control of magic. In battle, players deploy four characters at any time, with the ability to instantly swap the other four characters in, tag-team style.
