Great news from the frontier! We have discovered new weird west frontiers in the New Country and have begun the production of Cave Digger 2: Dig Harder!
It’s all still very new and there are a lot of things to do, but from now on you will be receiving news and development updates regularly. We hope to include as many of you as possible in the process to make sure the game is gonna be awesome for both original and new diggers to come.
CD2 will be first and foremost a VR release, and we aim to keep and improve some loved cave digger features, but also bring a bunch of new ones. More about those soon, probably in the form of some concept art to begin with.
You of course want to know when we’re planning to release this, but it’s too early to say now. What I can tell you now is that we’re planning to go early access first, probably Q2 or Q3 in 2021. Let’s see.
The badass in the image? That’s Clayton. Clayton is a miner, but not the player. This is one of the first concept images made for the game, so the subject is bound to change.
