Hello everyone,

Posting our most recent finding regarding the crash-to-desktop problem, thanks to Roboloid.

It turns out that the problem is with the Steampipe beta game updates.

>> To fix the problem of Synergy not being able to open properly, you must disable the Steampipe betas for the Steam client, Half-Life 2, Episode 1 and Episode 2.

You may also need to restart Steam after changing them.

That should do it.

Or, you can try the lazy man fix: Add the "-dxlevel 89" launch option to Synergy.
