Hi Everyone!
Since our announced Early Access return/refocus at the beginning of April we've been busy with weekly updates (every Saturday morning). We've discussed many of the updates here and there or one-on-one with many of you, but decided it was about time we posted a list of all the major updates, features, etc. in one spot. Below is a summary of the fixes, features and enhancements we've added to Secret Ponchos over the last 6 weeks.
• New maps: The Mines and Plaza
• Seasonal Leaderboards Added
• Online Chat Added to lobbies and in-game
• Matchmaking Improvements
- lobby “merging" to prevent duplicate hung lobbies and get games started
- added stability to friend chaining
- experimental rematch feature (still in progress)*
• Game Mode Optimization
- compression of 2v2 and 4v4 modes to new 3v3 mode
- addition of new Mode Vote / Map Vote features to Pre-Game lobby
- continued streamlining and improvements to game mode options (Solo / Multiplayer, etc)
- addition of "Random” Mode Vote and Map Vote options
• Lobby populates before mode chosen to reduce number of unfilled lobbies
• Add friends from Pre-Game (simply select the player to add them - UI on-screen instructions still needed)
• Switching character within Practice Mode (activate via in-game menu)
• Key-binding for Mouse Keyboard added
As many of you may have heard, we have a lot of exciting news coming over the next week, including the date of the official launch of Season Zero sometime in the next 5-10 days.
Weekly updates will continue and we're super excited to show you guys what we've been working on. More information about Season Zero, an upcoming appearance by a certain Outlaw, and what else we have planned, is just around the corner.
