We're happy to announce that Eastside Hockey Manager version 15.8.0b is now available to download on Steam.
To download the update, simply save your current game, quit EHM, then quit and restart Steam. Then launch the game as normal and this should start your update automatically.

- Improved modelling of contract start dates for free agent signings when signed near the end of the current season
- Teams who hold Russian league rights to a player playing in another league will now also get news if the player is released, traded or transfered
- Finetuning shortlisting of players for some of the bigger European leagues
UI changes:

- Split league information panel into sections for basic information and rules information
- Player profile stats panel at the bottom to only display continental/playout stats if games played
- Added current and future rating stars on the scout report panel in player profile when available
- Added relevant scout name to the scout report panel title in player profile when available

- Disabled playoff tree option in league screen for some international tournaments that should not display it
