Pushed a bugfix patch featuring a variety of quality-of-life updates. These include:

  • Windows 7 support added. The game's back end has been adjusted to use lower system requirements, so Windows 7 users should now be able to play without any difficulty.
  • Bug fix: Continuing a mission in certain areas results in your playable character not appearing and the screen shaking, forcing you to quit the mission and restart it from the beginning. This should no longer occur, except in cases where game progress is saved with one or more missions in such a state. In these situations, you will need to restart the mission from the beginning simply to get around the saved bug state, but you should not encounter the problem again in the future.
  • Bug fix: Issues with Kerberos boss seizing up and halting progression, forcing players to exit the mission. This should no longer occur.
  • Bug fix: Rare issue where defeating the final enemy in a combat scene with Yume's bombs could cause a progress-halting issue, sometimes accompanied by Yume's bombs changing into character clones or other visual oddities. The exact trigger conditions for this are hard to reproduce, so it's difficult to fully test that the issue has been fixed, but the underlying cause of it has been addressed, so this should no longer occur.
  • Corrections to the translation for numerous ultimate attacks. To anyone who was having issues leveling-up their ultimate attacks, this was likely the cause. Please check the conditions for leveling them once more, and you should no longer be presented with any incorrect information.
  • Text re-formatting for better use of window space.
  • Addition of "Exit" option on title screen.
  • Disabling of Esc-key functionality during transitions and character select.
  • Fix for window re-focusing when quitting to title screen.
  • Addition of game icon on task bar.

We want to thank all the fans for their bug reports and feedback on the Steam Community forums, and urge you to please keep them coming! We're working with the developers now to fix many of the other issues that have been reported, so please do expect further updates in the near future as well.

Our current focus is in the following areas:

  • Additional bug fixes, in response to issues reported by players.
  • Shoring up legacy Windows support.
  • Chinese-language support.

Thank you for your patience, and we hope you continue to enjoy your time with the game!
