Development Update - New features to help you learn from your opponents

In Inertial Drift, you'll need to learn from your competitors as well as compete with them! Studying the lines that others are using could give you an edge in those intense 1v1 races, and the team have recently introduced two new upgrades to help you do just that!

Break Trails That Hang in the Air

If you're already familiar with Inertial Drift, you'll know that the break trails from your car and your opponent's car hang in the air for a short while. Notice your opponent acing a tricky corner? Study their break trails to see exactly where they applied and released the breaks!

A new proximity based fade sees the trails fade-out as you cover the same ground, allowing you to replicate your opponent's throttle & break timings in real-time.

Glowing Skid Trails

Another recent addition comes in the form of glowing skid trails. Racing ghosts - whether your own or somebody else's - is another invaluable opportunity to hone your craft. These new glowing skid-trails for ghosts make it even easier to study their lines.

Remember, each car in Inertial Drift is different! Simply copying what your opponent does is no guaruntee of success...
