Hey again, zomboarders!
As always, thank you for playing Radical Zomboarding! The response to the recent updates has been great, and again I sincerely appreciate everyone who has taken the time to play the demo, share feedback, and help make the game better.
With that said, I am thrilled to announce something I’ve been looking forward to for a very long time:
Radical Zomboarding now features the voice of Bryan Burton-Lewis, the original voice of Axel and announcer from the Crazy Taxi series!
You’ll now hear his work throughout the game as he brings some real exciting energy to Radical Zomboarding, and I couldn’t be happier to feature his distinct voice talent in my game.
And with that, here’s the changelog for 8-18-26 (1.7.54+3425b24a):
Additions
Now featuring the voice work of Bryan Burton-Lewis! He can be heard throughout the game, in the menus, and during the tutorial. This is Radical Zomboarding, baby!
New perks!
Stout: Doubles short tricks points earned with max hype
Lanky: Doubles long trick points earned with max hype
Death Grip: Doubles points earned from grabs with max hype
Shredemption: Prevents losing hype on wipeout one time, then expires
Changes
Changed the audio balancing of music, sound effects, and now narration for a more consistent volume across the board
Music playback now defaults to a random song on run start
Fixes
Fixed an issue where wearing the pumpkin hat would cause you to wipe out for seemingly no reason
Fixed an issue where the doppler effect on the camera would make chainsawing sound wrong
Fixed missing max hype highlights on certain characters
Fixed an issue where the Itano Circus perk would appear in the shop rotation on the Bunny Slope where no turrets exist
Fixed an issue where the control schema change prompt was showing for new players
