Elder's Choice, Inc. and Somun Immersive just signed a deal with VR Junkies to have Country Road VR featured in their VR Arcades. According to VR Junkies, their decision to hand pick the virtual petting farm was due to its ability to provide a more diverse choice of games for their customers. It's been mentioned by VRJ that customers are looking for simple "experiences" in VR in addition to conventional games.
Michael Bilger, President and CEO of Elder's Choice, Inc. made the announcement today: "We're excited to see an increased level of interest in Country Road VR and this move is telling us as well as the public that VR has a future in many facets of our community." Bilger went on to state that Country Road VR was originally designed to help treat individuals with dementia, yet is really suitable for any age and those who wish for a relaxing, immersive experience. "We hope this drives a more diverse age group into the field of VR and certainly into the VR Arcades of VR Junkies."
Elder's Choice, Inc. has also announced that there is currently discussion on further updates and enhancements planned in the near future to make the experience even more interactive.
Country Road VR is currently available for only $2.99 on the Steam store.
