We are excited to announce our new trailer: Filmmaker Tycoon – Awards Trailer. It tells us what it takes to be a successful filmmaker. Create award winning movies, hire the best actors, customize their costumes, mess around with post-production and build the movie studio of your dreams in Filmmaker Tycoon!
Due to community interest, we have decided to launch the game on Steam Early Access in April 2020. The exact date will be announced shortly.
The Early Access version of the game will feature a complete sandbox film-making experience. You, as the player, will be able to experience what it feels like to run a movie studio.
Over the course of Early Access, we plan to introduce a bunch of exciting game-play features and mechanics which are not fully polished yet for Early Access release. Some of those features include: Dynamic Poster Generation, Custom Movie Set Creation and Custom Actor Creation. While we are not 100% committing to when these features will be released, we can tell you that these features are in the works.
We will also use Early Access as a platform to polish the features and game play mechanics we have already implemented.
