| Added | A_Monarch_chosen_by_her_People | — | A Monarch, chosen by her People — Of all the five Factions, the Resistance has the only claim on Delasphos's land, history and resources that can be considered 'objective' ; they were here first. The Faction is made up of the remainder of Delasphos's original population, Humans and Gnomes mixed with a few Half,Orcs and Half,Elves ; either the seed of rape, or of unwavering romance, flowering despite its odds. The people are ruled by a single Monarch, advised by his small council and the guild masters. Though systematically close to Tyranny, the Monarchy of the Resistance is built on Trust and necessity for quick decisions. Amyra, the current leader, was the second in command during the Resistance's battle to preserve what territorry it could. Relentless yet kind, she played a key role in establishing the Clover treaty during the second negotiations, despite what had happened during the first, and insisted on an open,doors policy towards those who seeked to join the Resistance, despite their Tribe. This openness has led to a flourishing of Trade, Science, Arts and, since nothing creative runs on an empty stomach, the Guilds make a habbit of paying well for Delasphos's best chefs, making the capital of the Resistance a foodie's paradise. |

But, the Elven Pact is a Faction which besides external struggles, suffers great internal tension as well.Two Tribes that have hated eachother for centuries, have now been forced by circumstances to share a city, and they've so far managed it without a civil war breaking out. This is thanks to a 3,tiered set of rules; Elven Laws, Divine Commands and Council Orders. Elven Laws revolve around peace,keeping between elves.Steal, lose a hand.Attack lose an arm. Kill, lose a head.This is enforced by the Capital Guard ; a military force who is bound by powerful oaths to both High Elvish and Dark Elvish gods to uphold these laws, oaths sealed by the Priests of each Pantheon. Divine Commands are who believe in them, and are offered as a guide to avoid divine punishment. Still, openly disrespecting a religion will get you face to face with the respective High Priest to decide your fate. Council Orders can only be refuse if the receiver believes they contradict the Clover Treaty, Elven Laws or their Tribe's Divine Commands. The Capital Guard or the appropriate High Priest judges the grounds for their disobedience and acts accordingly. This tight system of Laws makes most of Delasphos's inhabitants feel unwelcome at Inl and Onf Thenmar, and only visit if they have business with the Elven Pact. |

High Elves and Dark Elves, as well as some Half,Elves that were born during the war, make up for most of its citizens. As soon as the portals were open, the elves were prepared. They cast aside their differences, at least temprorarily, and rushed as two separate armies with one common goal; to conquer the world at the other side. And they would have, had the portalled remained open long enough for their entire armies to make it through. They have declared their twin capital cities to be Inl Thenmar and Onf Thenmar, an old human city, split in two. There's also rumors of Wood Elves that made it through the portal, but no one has seen any in the last 50 years. No matter how hard they tried, after the imminent threat disappeared and the Clover Treaty was signed, they could no longer unite under mixed leadership. So they now share a city split in half, and each Tribe abides to their own leaders and laws |

They say history is written by the victors.So what happens when both sides lose? This War left the entire Mother Realm devastated, and those who fought in it, perished instantly. Those studying the Astral Planes have gathered only bits and pieces of what happened that fateful day.A beam of searing light, of pure energy, was fired into M' Or, the Heart of the Realm. And then, Chaos. You see, M' Or is the very reason the afterlife functions as it does. A being of highly concentrated and pure Soul Energy, it powers Aeth, the Soul Stream which leads the dead to their respective planets, and it keeps those planets anchored closely so that it may act as an energy source for them. When it was shot, it started leaking at an incredible rate.Nearby planets detonated due to the overflow , planets far away withered and died, unable to sustain their souls. That is when the human Arch,Sorceress,to,be, Nimelle Dios, stepped up far beyond the call of her duty. |

It was during Nimelle's Awakening ceremony ; celebrating her imminent rise to the rank of Arch,Sorceress, that the afterlife as we knew it changed forever. Within a few seconds, there was a flash of light, an explosion and a blast wave of soul energy expanding outwards from M' Or, devastating anything it came in contact with. The closest planets, detonated instantly. On Delasphos, terraforming began. The earth split in half, mountains emerged out of nowhere, lakes started spiraling upwards into the air, mountains turned into volcanoes and in certain places time stood still.All 3 Arch Sorcerers were present ; and they agreed on one thing; we were all doomed. Yet, defiant as ever, Nimelle hugged her best friend, held her tears inside, and calmly levitated high above everyone else. She took a deep breath, and saved us with the humblest of spells ; a Drain from her left hand absorbed half of the shockwave from M' Or's energy, and she redirected that to her right hand, chanelling a super,charged Shield to block the rest. Despite the success of her insane plan, the pain of having M' Or's energy course through her body must have been beyond excruciating, because all of us still hear her screams ; and as a testament, we renamed the summit of this mountain accordingly. No longer entirely human, but more of a demi,godess, she held on long enough to save us, before fainting into a long comma. |

Of the nearby planets drift away into nothingness, they opened portals to the three closest ones ; the Elven planet, the Dwarven planet and the planet of the Orcs. It wasn't long before M' Or stabilized itself, the portals closed, and those who came through them were stuck with us on Delasphos, one of the few planets of the Mother Realm that survived the War of Souls. The terraforming brought to the surface the underwater gnomes, a Tribe which was residing peacefully alongside Humans ever since time began, each other's knowledge of the other's existence long,lost in the annals of history. The planet's soil was not the only thing that suffered from the exposure to the soul energy. Many of the forest's animal's , wolves and lizards, birds and dragons, absorbed great amounts of soul energy. Some died instantly while others mutated over the next two decades, giving rise to entirely new species which battled for supremacy in the forests. Aaracocras and Dragonborns were the victors, if one can describe mass extinction as a victory. In the end of it all, Delasphos was no longer , and would never again be , the same; the planet's surface had changed permanently, and there were now 8 Tribes being forced into co,existence. |
