Update 1.2.0: Smoothing Overhaul
This update replaces the previous Kalman-based smoothing with a new Holt double-exponential filter. Tracking should feel steadier during normal movement while remaining more responsive when you change direction. The new filter separates smoothing from motion prediction, helping reduce visible jitter without making your avatar feel delayed. Want to stay up to date, report issues, or connect with…
Added calibration tutorial video to setup · Improved sensor fusion foot rotation handling · Improved upper leg tracker rotation IK · Slightly increased strength of 2D filtering · Added option to disable foot rotation tracking and use old IK method

Update 1.1.0: Major Tracking and Latency Improvements
I'm excited to announce D.R.A.F.T. VR's first major update! Version 1.1.0 introduces a new machine-learning architecture that delivers foot rotation tracking, better accuracy, reduced jitter, improved occlusion handling, and lower latency. Full patch notes: · Introduced a new ML architecture with higher tracking accuracy, foot rotation tracking, improved occlusion handling, and reduced jitter ·…
Significant latency and stutter reduction · The cropping ML model was running synchronously, causing increased latency every third frame. It now runs asynchronously, reducing overall latency and preventing stutters.
Fixed a performance issue where older frames could take priority over newer frames, causing tracking stutters. · Improved the SteamVR calibration process · Improved CPU utilization. Overall CPU usage may be slightly higher, but processing is now more efficient and consistent. · Fixed an issue that caused dual-Kinect alignment to fail on some setups.
