V 1.0.
Hey everyone. It's been almost six months since the game's release. I've read all the feedback I could get, made balance adjustments, added QoL features, and now Yclept is in a state where it's ready for full release. Thank you to everyone who left reviews on Steam, suggested new ideas, and shared error logs. You rock.

Update: Second chance
Hello everyone. The "Igroprom Online" competition, in which Yclept is participating, is currently underway. A significant number of streamers and experts have asked to give players a second chance during playthroughs. As a result, several changes have been made to the game: · Players now start with a one-time shield that protects them from the King. · The scene with the accomplices has been exp…

Update: Game Speed-Up
Hello everyone. This update is aimed at skipping optional parts of the game: · The camera flight between the accomplices at the very beginning of the main game will now play only once. It will not appear in subsequent runs. · The stage involving the rescue of the princess after the first king's kill is now also a one-time event. It no longer needs to be replayed. · Added a setting for pawn move…

Update: Alternative Locations
Hello everyone. I'm releasing an update that is the first step towards changing the escape with the princess mode from the main game. This time, all internal locations in the second mode will have their own alternative appearance. This is not the last change in this area, so we'll be in touch.

Tutorial update
Hey everyone. While another update, focused more on visual changes, is in the works, I decided to slightly expand the tutorial to make it easier for new players to navigate the main game. Changes: · Explanation of the "Skip Turn" mechanic has been moved to the very beginning. · More interaction options are now available with the very first merchant. The player will immediately get familiar with…
Dependency of character movement speed and text scrolling on FPS has been removed. The red smoke effect when the king becomes VERY angry has been removed. It caused significant FPS drops on weaker computers.
Hey guys. Ever since the release, I've been watching other people's playthroughs, and there's one thing they all have in common — no one's game has crashed, broken, or softlocked. As a programmer, that just makes me really happy. But if you do run into any problems with the game, be sure to drop me an email or post in the Steam discussions. I'll definitely read everything and take it into accou…
As you can see, Yclept had a rather bumpy release, and after a month, we haven't been able to gather the minimum number of reviews needed to generate a rating. If you care about the game's future, please leave a review. It would REALLY help with further promotion.

A minor update
The first update for Yclept is out, featuring minor adjustments to balance and gameplay feel. Changes introduced: 1. On the main board, the player now starts together with a Townsman pawn. 2. The King no longer gains rage as quickly. He can still move 8 tiles forward at the final rage stage, but the probability of this has been reduced. 3. A note about the Blue Token has been added to the dress…
