| In-game event | v1.28: VR list scrolling + easier return to the same song You can now use your VR touchpad or thumbstick to scroll up and down the music list. Use both thumbsticks for more velocity. You have to be pointed at the list for it to work. · When you complete a song and return to the song selection screen, it will automatically select the same song. This makes it easier to redo the song and see saved high scores. - Phr00t | — | |
| Game update | v1.27: Added touchpad center press to pause the game Vive controllers needed something mapped to in-game pause: center touchpress has been added! - Phr00t | 10276620 | |
| In-game event | v1.26: Combo Counter + Bug Fix Now you can track how high of a combo you are making! Miss a hit while dancing, or hit an "avoid" block, and the combo counter resets. This update also fixes a bug that caused hitting "avoid" blocks to not deduct points from your score or upset the audience. Happy Holidays! - Phr00t | — | |
| In-game event | v1.25: Update "hold" Generation & Keep Song if leaving prematurely I tweaked how "holds" are generated (this is when a connected line of notes come at you). Now, you can have multiple small holds closer together, or a small hold not cancelling out a close "big" hold. It will also try and do a better job of making "holds" at the start of a singing section, instead of the middle. I also made the song choice "stick" if you leave before the end of the song finishe… | — | |
| In-game event | v1.24: Add Opus and M4a support PerformVR v1.24 now supports all of these music container formats: · OGG · MP3 · AAC · FLAC · WAV · WMA · AC3 · OPUS (new) · M4A (new) - Phr00t | 9490805 | |
| In-game event | v1.23: Adjusted visuals and song segment detection Billboards and the connected frequency visualizers moved inwards to be easier to see during gameplay · Adjusted song segment detection algorithm to be a bit more accurate · Tweaked score displays in-game to better reflect the beat lighting · Updated to Focus Engine v4.7.3 - Phr00t | 9457566 | |
| In-game event | v1.22: Better segmentation detection + black background This update changes how music segments (chorus etc.) are detected, which should better place "big" events like jumping and double hits. Due to this change, songs will need to be re-analyzed. I also added a black box to where notes begin to make them easier to see. This also updates PerformVR to the latest Focus Engine v4.5.3 - Phr00t | 8973585 | |
| In-game event | v1.20: Adding Mic Selector Added a mic selector in Options to pick which mic to use for Karaoke singing. Enjoy! - Phr00t | — | |
| Game update | v1.19: Better timing for songs with long intros If a song has a long introduction (say 10-20 seconds), it will extend the playtime to compensate. For example, if you have "maximum playtime" set to 90 seconds, but there is a 20 second introduction before any notes are placed, the song will play for 110 seconds. This is done so you can have a consistent active playtime for varying songs. | 8476213 | |
| In-game event | v1.18: Better dance patterns & visuals Added colorful strips down the path infront of you. These will change color depending on how you are doing & go along with the beat · Improved holds, making them more accurate and placed a bit more often in useful spots · Improved higher level difficulties. Instead of lots of notes, it will put more on vocals and interesting places of the song Enjoy! - Phr00t | 8448051 |
